Anelise Luize

Anie Depoli
Director of Instruction
Anelise "Liz" has a background in Physical Education and discovered her passion for teaching early on. She was the head teacher for a preschool program in Manhattan for 3 years, contributing to curriculum development and skill-based tutoring.
With an M.Ed in Learning, Cognition, and Development from Rutgers University, Liz has taught kindergarten and first grade for years, providing her with deep insights into the skills children need for future success.
As a mom of (soon to be) two, and a parent educator, Liz also uses her page @parentingcharlie to help parents make informed choices for their little ones. She believes that children’s social and emotional skills are crucial to their learning and that fostering these skills in early childhood benefits their entire academic journey. Liz is committed to early childhood development, creating an environment that meets NYC's academic standards while prioritizing children's social and emotional well-being
Anie's life work and mission have always been centered on education. She has been drawn to children and, over her career, has taught hundreds of students, from toddlers to elementary schoolers. Ane holds a B.A. in Teaching and a post-baccalaureate specialization in Early Childhood from UFPR.
Ane has been an Early Childhood teacher in Manhattan for the past 17 years, focusing primarily on ages 2-4. With over 30 years of teaching experience, her connection with children is unparalleled.
Ane sees children as precious individuals and, through constant communication, guides them through well-rounded, long-lasting learning, building a strong foundation for their future academic lives. Ane is thrilled to take charge of instruction at Pinard, guiding our teachers into bringing a creative approach to teaching and focusing on art and sensory projects to incorporate basic skills across all academic areas.
